The mission of Roux Physical Therapy is to improve the lives of patients and the wellness of communities through helping and healing.

Roux Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Kassie and Ryan Roussel, PT, DPT, CMTPT, C-PS.

Ryan’s educational background, history in athletics and experience with both inpatients and outpatients, have helped him cultivate a specialized approach to both physical therapy and wellness. Ryan’s passion and expertise and the couple’s drive to help people, were the inspiration behind Roux Physical Therapy.

Ryan and Kassie reside in St. James Parish with their three children. "We wanted to serve a rural community similar to our hometown that could be positively impacted, which led us to Donaldsonville," said the Roussels. 

"We have fallen in love with this community and we are extremely grateful for the warm welcome we received while we were working to open our clinic."

Roux Physical Therapy was named the 2023 MBECA New Business of the Year and won the 2024 Community Choice Award for Best Physical Therapy Clinic in Ascension Parish. 

In addition to award-winning clinical care, we strive to offer an environment that makes patients feel comfortable and happy. We are committed to forming strong relationships that aid in healing as well as treating our patients like family. 

 Roux Physical Therapy offers a multifaceted approach to treat patients of all ages with various orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal issues, pain, movement problems and muscle weaknesses. Roux Physical Therapy also offers cash-pay dry-needling and recovery services.
